It was so hot on Sunday. We went over to Annand's parent's house and Makeba had the time of her life in their new Makeba pool! She saw the water and crawled right in! She was splashing around on her knees, getting everyone soaked and having so much fun! She also enjoyed her first fruit popsicle, but she preferred the water! After her lips turned blue and she was shivering, we took a reluctant Makeba out of the pool. She spent some time on my parent's swing and playing in the dog's water bowl. Grandma did not like that so she brought out a special water bowl, just for Makeba. She sucked all the water out of the water toys that Grandma bought for her. Sunday was the first day that Makeba stood up by herself unaided. She's added a new dance move to her repertoire, also, she now sways her hips side to side in time with music and singing.
